MAY: BIRCH BOX

So I've been away for a little while again, and I feel like I won't even try and make any excuses this time. I've just been making the most of family and friends and living a really busy lifestyle of late and so because of that, blogging has taken a little back seat and I have a whole list of blogposts lined up ready to go... So June, I'm ready for you! May is my birthday month and so last week I was absolutely spoiled by friends and family and one of my gorgeous gifts was a subscription to Birch Box which I have been in love with for such a long time now.

This months was quite the birthday treat and came packed with goodies from Beauty Blenders to Eye Shadow sticks so I thought I'd do a little blog post and share my new faves...

01. OLEHENRIKSEN. The Clean Truth Cleansing Cloth | RRP £12 for 30 Wipes

These incredible wipes are packed with Vitamin C and cleanse brighten and firm the skin all at once. Pretty incredible right? These are perfect for taking away on holiday and as I'm going to be travelling to quite a few places in the summer months and only taking hand luggage, I'm going to be using these for my summer breaks which will help with a little nifty packing too.

02. KUESHI. Foot Care Cream | RRP £12

If anyone knows me you'll knows I have the worst feet for getting sores and dry skin and so when I saw that my Birch Box included a Foot Care Cream it was almost as if it had been put together specifically for my needs. I've used a number of Foot Care Creams and spoken previously on my blog about which ones I prefer, but this Kueshi Cream has been an absolutely dream to use! It's incredibly nourishing and enriched with sweet almond oil and royal jelly to soothe and soften, and these tea tree oil calms and relieves quickly. Perfect for over worked, and over-used tired tootsies!

03. SPECTRUM COLLECTIONS. Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge | RRP £4.99

Now, I've never been one to use beauty blenders or sponges for applying make-up. I've tried many in the past but I've just never really found one that works well for me. I use Clinique even better 01 as my base foundation and so this is the perfect tool to apply a liquid foundation. The one downside that I find with sponges is that I feel I use more foundation than normal and that the sponge absorbs excess liquid. I think it will be interesting to see what I think of this product after a period of time. To use the sponge you first have to dampen the sponge under a tap. Using the rounded end, apply your liquid/cream product using a tapping motion to distribute evenly. To apply around the eyes and nose you can use the pointed end to get a more accurate application

04. BEAVER PROFESSIONAL. Hydro Nutritive Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner | RRP £11.50

These gentle formula's are perfect for reviving damaged hair. Which is perfect for me as, because I wear Great Lengths extensions I rarely get my hair cut meaning it can easily become noticeably damaged. These Beaver Professional products hydrate hair thanks to avocado oil and aloe vera and cleanse the hair from root to tip, perfect for my split ends and damaged locks.
